There are currently 23 MACSAC farms serving Madison, Milwaukee, Dubuque and surrounding areas. All of the farms that are promoted by MACSAC have been through a peer-reviewed application and interview process to ensure their ability to provide high quality, sustainably grown foods to consumers. MACSAC farms follow the basic CSA model, offer a variety of crops or fresh food items, and operate the farm using organic techniques. Not all MACSAC farms are certified organic by the NOP (National Organic Program).
If you are choosing a CSA for the first time please read “Considerations When Choosing a CSA” and note the factors that are most important to you. Consider which farm will best meet your needs and expectations as you browse through the following list.
